Madison Property Restoration is recruiting a Lead Water Mitigation Technician. At Madison Property Restoration, getting your home or office “back to normal” after water, mold or fire damage is our only priority. With 24/7 service, we’re able to get on site within a matter of hours versus days reducing further damage or health issues for your family or employees. The Lead Water Mitigation Technician will be the first person to enter the structure after the disaster/damage and must be able to assure the customer that their property is going to be handled with the best care. A team-work spirit, integrity, great work ethic, and the desire to be part of a respectful culture are important attributes of the right candidate. Compensation: • $25.00/hr Plus (DOE) • Call-out Bonus (after hours) • Vacation & Sick Leave • Paid Holidays • IRA Plan with company match after one year Responsibilities: • Effectively communicate with a variety of customers • Inspect properties for water damage and develop a drying plan which includes the setup of drying equipment, monitoring temperature, relative humidity and moisture content in materials • Remove damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, and cabinets • Lead other technicians on a job site • Sketch job sites with attention to details and measurements • Take photographs of the loss and completed job site • Clearly and concisely document services and complete service sheets • Monitor job site progress and ensure all goals are met to close out the job • Ensure customer is satisfied and happy with the work performed Requirements: • 1 years’ experience in water mitigation, fire damage experience is a plus • IICRC certifications are a plus • Able to prioritize multiple tasks, have a sense of urgency to complete projects and be detail oriented • Ability to recognize and solve problems independently • Ability to manually sketch job sites with measured dimensions • Able to handle stress in a fast-paced work environment • Able to exercise good judgment in making decisions • Ability to work in all types of structures that have experienced some form of disaster • Must be flexible and available for 24-hour emergency work • Must be able to be “on-call” (rotation schedule) • Must have a clean driving record and be willing to undergo and pass a background check.
