7-30 hours per week Property Maintenance Helper; also need a Crew Boss

Jobs

Florence OR

Description

Have a dozen rentals and one homestead mostly in the Florence area requiring ALL aspects of maintaining the home, yard, and acreage. Housecleaning is only done on turnovers plus clean up after a repair anor improvement project. Have a small crew due to covid and now looking to expand by several people. An experienced supervisor would also be of interest to be crew chief. This is not under the table as all workers are reported, documented, and insured like any lawful employee. The main employee benefits are: 1) YOU weekly determine what days and hours to be available to work during M-F 0800-1800, 2) YOU come as you are as tools and materials are provided, 3) YOU may refuse work as safety is a primary concern, and 4) what you don't know you will learn regarding the repair and improvement of any home you live in for rest of your life. Learning is a major benefit to offset the pay. Compensation is based on what you bring in terms of skills, tools, experience, and availability. The position works best if you live in the greater Florence area, have a working car with a valid current Driver's license, and can carry 80 pounds (bag cement, bundle shingles, 4x8 drywall, etc.). You will also receive a bonus of 1% of the base pay rate per full day worked applied to all the days worked for the month. If do 18 days, then (base rate + 18%) X (all hours worked that month). Ignored are any initial contacts that do not provide all of: 1) town you live in, 2) your email address, 3) your direct phone number, 4) your background in using hand tools especially residential maintenance/landscaping skills, and 5) what your average weekly hours/days availability is. Due to virus inclusion in attachments, any attachment will be discarded without viewing. Sending a resume or failing to provide the basic info will be viewed as the inability to follow simple instructions. There is in the order done a phone chat, rental site visit/introduction, application submission, full interview, check of references, and background check. I use emails heavily; so, no phone is given here as a start. Since you will be in tenants' homes, you must submit to the same rental screening they do. So to start, don't apply if your credit score is under 600 or you have been evicted anor filed for bankruptcy in the past ten years.
