JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — Election Day has finally arrived, and 79 percent of active, registered voters in Jefferson County have returned their ballots.
"Unless you are a military or overseas voter, postmarks do not count: We must receive your ballot by 7 p.m. tonight," Jeffco Clerk and Recorder George Stern said in an elections update.
"All of our drop boxes – 36 in total – are open and are the fastest way to turn in your ballot. If you need to register to vote, obtain a replacement ballot, or access additional voting services, head to one of our 32 in-person vote centers. As of Monday evening, 336,369 ballots were returned in Jefferson County:

Jefferson County has already begun processing and counting ballots, but results won't be posted until 7 p.m. Results will be posted at least every two hours throughout the evening, officials said.
