Job Summary: Forklift drivers assist loading and receiving product, stocking items by hand or with material handling equipment, prepare and complete receiving paperwork and assist with inventory control. Must have sensory capabilities to avoid accidents as warehouse environment involves fast moving forklifts and power jack equipment. Schedule: 5 days a week, possibly split days off. 8AM start time. Shifts are approximately 8-10 hours long Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To: • Receive, break-down and store product in a refrigerated warehouse • Maintain the warehouse and your equipment to ensure it is in a clean and orderly condition • Other duties as assigned • Excellent time management and teamwork skills • Reliability; consistently at work and on time • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willingness to report potentially unsafe conditions Required Experience: • Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, 35-45 degrees • Previous forklift experience is preferred • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Charlie’s Produce Total Compensation Package includes: • Competitive hourly wage • 90 day performance-based evaluation • Annual reviews • Supplemental retirement plan through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). • Robust employee assistance program. • Vacation, sick and holiday pay • 100% employer paid college tuition program • 401k available *Upon hire, must be able to show proof of Covid vaccination, minimal first dose will be accepted.
