This is a long shot. In 1988 while serving in the USN and stationed in Long Beach, some friends and I were hanging out at the beach in Seal Beach. We were playing catch football. As I ran to catch a ball toward the shoreline I tripped and fell. I put my hands out to catch the fall. My hands went into the wet sand and when I pulled my right hand out, my ring stayed behind. I frantically dug into the sand looking for it but the sand being to wet, it kept caving in. We tried to find it to no avail. I never went back to try and find it. I am hoping someone has found it or will find it with a metal detector. It is 1986 Lamesa HS. Gold Jostens Class ring. Thank you.
