Marriottsville Road Shuts Down Tuesday For Repaving

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Drivers should be alert for a detour steering them away from northbound and southbound Marriottsville Road between US 40 and MD 144 starting Tuesday. The stretch of road is being repaved. Weather permitting, the project will be completed by early June. During construction hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., traffic will follow a marked detour using US 40 and MD 144. According to Howard County officials, a recorded message at 410-313-3637 will carry detour information and project updates.
