Description
Looking to put together a two or three-piece group that plays rockabilly, punk, rock, pop, country and instrumental covers from the 50s through the 90s for audiences in their forties, fifties and sixties primarily. 95% cover songs with occasion for an original here and there. Likely to play paying afternoon and dinner gigs throughout the state but primarily on the Space Coast. If we could pull the song off and do it well, anything from The Coasters to Motorhead could be on the setlist - songs that were popular in those decades but not necessarily top 40 hits. Songs from a band like The Ramones might follow a song from Ricky Nelson followed by a Dick Dale song and then one from Johnny Cash and then all of a sudden Primus shows up and then it's Bob Marley. As long as it's good and we do the song justice, I think it would be popular with the audience. As for me, I am a guitarist with 25 years of professional playing experience and can play most styles of music at a high level. I think to make it work, you would have to have at least 15 years gigging under your belt. Vocals a big plus - thanks.
