Porters, Handyman & Maintenance Central Harlem Management Company Seeks Capable, Energetic, Detail Oriented Porter Handyman / Maintenance Full Time / On the Books - Covid-19 Vaccination is required Job Duties and Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience Inspect and clean interior hallways, stairs, lobby, mechanical closet, basement, boiler room Work with team on unit turnovers assemble beds and dressers Make repairs as necessary sheetrock, plaster, taping, compound & painting Install and replace commercial vinyl and ceramic tiles Replace mortise cylinders & locks, reseat doors, install door sweeps Lite electrical work - change switches, lightbulbs and small fixtures, circuit breakers GCFI outlets Lite plumbing replace sink traps, faucets, snake toilets & sinks, wax seal & reseat toilets Wax and strip floors using waxing machine and buffer Winterization preparation & snow removal in winter months Communication, time management skills & teamwork a must Complete work tickets and report to supervisors Remove trash and recyclables from the lobby & stairway receptacles, sweep & mop hallways and in front of the building.
