Ethical Practices in Counseling & Substance Use Treatment
This is a 3.0 CEU workshop addressing the topic Ethical Practices in Counseling & Substance Use Treatment presented by Jennifer Wilburn MS, LPC, LADC. This event meets continuing education (CE) needs of Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) as set forth by the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure (BBHL). This workshop is designed to increase overall awareness and understanding of “Ethical Practices in Counseling” Subject matter includes understanding basic ethical principles of professional practice, identifying how our primary beliefs impact ethical practices, avoiding harm & imposing values, maintaining boundaries & professional relationships, recognizing the need to consult, and practicing in a competent ethical manner.
