See our website for more information at “www.sanitaryequipment.com “ Job Description: The Parts Department Assistant position will be responsible for handling Parts Calls, Counter Sales for our Refuse Parts and Service Departments, and cross training in Customer Service, Warehouse Duties, and some on the road Parts deliveries as required. General Job Information: Hours 8am-5pm Weekdays Training provided Medical Benefits Matching 401(k) Plan Profit Sharing Plan Vacation and Sick time Primary Responsibilities: Assist in the Parts Department daily. Stocks and records orders received. Notifies the individuals concerned as soon as specially ordered parts are received. Assists the parts manager (counter) in processing customers’ orders. Updates the files on electronic parts. Returns parts, as necessary, and subtracts them from the inventory once credit has been granted. Files all invoices issued by the parts counter. Acts as backup to the parts manager in inventory management tasks. Use of hand tools like box cutters and pry bars; may also operate forklifts and be physically able to carry parts in excess of 50 pounds. Job Qualifications: Customer Service and Parts Experience required, as well as Inventory Management experience. Inventory and Purchasing experience are preferred. Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving record. Ability to deal effectively with all types of personalities. Above average initiative, creativity, negotiation and listening skills. Motivated self-starter with strong initiative to float within Parts Department Counter Area, Warehouse Environment, Delivery Driver Duties, and major & minor projects within the Company. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
