Glacier Distilling is a craft distillery nestled in the foothills of Glacier National Park. We specialize in small-batch whiskeys that reflect the rugged beauty of our surroundings. We use local grains, fruits and pure glacial water from the Northern Rockies to create alpine whiskeys best enjoyed in the great outdoors. All of our spirits are hand crafted at The Whiskey Barn located on HWY 2 in Coram, MT 7 miles from the West Glacier park entrance. We are hiring a Production Assistant to start immediately. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, hard working, self motivated, and has an interest in the craft spirits industry. Primary responsibility will be too assisting with bottling and labeling a variety of finished products. This will include setting up and tearing down and cleaning the bottling line. Production Assistant will also be asked to help prepare outgoing shipments of finished products and will be expected to help keep a clean and organized work space. Other duties will be to assist with production equipment cleaning, barreling and warehouse management. It's a great opportunity to start learning the craft alcohol industry at a growing company. This position is 3-4 10 hour shifts per week. Housing may be available for the right candidate. Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist with bottling and labeling of finished products -Set up, operate, and clean up bottling line -Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties - General cleaning and maintenance of production area (including equipment) -Record keeping - Assist with production equipment cleaning - Assist with barrel and rack house management - Assist with other duties as assigned Requirements: -Must be 18 or older - Be able to stand for long periods of time -Be able to lift at least 50lbs -Be self motivated and able to work unsupervised -Ability to pay attention to small details and remain organized To apply please email a resume to [email protected]
