MarketReady educates producers interested in expanding their business and products into retail, restaurant, and wholesale markets.
The MarketReady producer training is based on best business practices identified by buyers in these markets who are actively seeking to engage their local food system. The focus of the completely redesigned training is to assist local food producers in establishing a business strategy and effectively market their products to local markets, restaurants, and even grocers, but also to local schools, school districts, and other educational institutions.
The Monroe MarketReady Core Training will take place on Thursday, May 12th, 2022, at the LSU AgCenter Ouachita Parish Extension Office and begins at 1:00 PM lasting approximately two hours.
