Illinois Restaurant Association and IHCC are partnering to provide ServSafe Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification class at no cost.
The Illinois Restaurant Association and the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are partnering on a new initiative through the Cook County Small Business Assistance Program. Through this, the IL Restaurant Association will provide ServSafe Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification class at no cost.
The class will include textbooks, class handouts, and a Certificate of Completion to all who successfully complete the class and test.
This class will be only in-person and in English.
Class Overview
It provides a comprehensive course in food safety & sanitation principles.7-hour training requirement followed by up to 2 hours for the exam.Certification eligibility requirements:
Attendees must provide a valid photo ID (passport, state ID, driver’s license, or matrícula consular with name and photo).Attendees must complete all hours of training.Attendees must receive a minimum passing grade of 75% on the exam.The participant and/or the business they work for should be in Cook County.***Limited spots
