Come celebrate Black Maternal Liberation with Black Birthworkers and the Families they serve. This will be an indoor and outdoor gathering of Black Birthworkers (Doulas, Midwives, Lactation and Childbirth Educators) and Black pregnant and postpartum families. The purpose of the event is to celebrate Black maternal wellness in the community and connect Black Birthworkers to Black Birthing Families. Our event will include food, Birthworker/Doula activities, networking, community resource tables and more. This event is in partnership with: The California Black Women’s Health Project, Frontline Doulas, Center for You and Community Development and the Sankofa Birthworkers Collective of the Inland Empire.
