Get Ready for UCSB’s Most Anticipated Entrepreneurial Event: Technology Management’s New Venture Competition! Please join us for UC Santa Barbara’s New Venture Fair, on Thursday, April 28 at 4PM, on the patio of Corwin Pavilion on the UCSB campus. We are looking forward to being back in person this year! The Fair will highlight the business ideas of 14 student teams in a tradeshow-like event, complete with product demonstrations and poster board presentations. We invite you to circulate through the booths, learn more about each business, and vote for your favorites. NVC finalists will be announced following the event on the Technology Management Website. The Fair will be open from 4:00PM to approximately 6:30PM, and refreshments and appetizers will be served. Since we’ll be outside, you may wish to bring a sweater or a jacket for after the sun goes down. Thank you for your continued support of UCSB's Technology Management Program and our students. About the New Venture Fair: The New Venture Fair is a part of the UC Santa Barbara New Venture Competition (NVC), in which students from all academic disciplines work for several months to develop innovative start-up business plans. The Fair, which serves as the NVC semi-finals, is a dynamic and exciting event where the community gets a first look at UCSB's exceptional student entrepreneurs. The New Venture Fair and NVC Finals, which will be held on May 19, have become significant events in the local entrepreneurship ecosystem.
