Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Objective: The Warehouse/ Samples Associate has the primary responsibility of maintaining a well-organized warehouse/showroom according to the company policies and inventory procedures. Each Warehouse Associate has responsibilities with receiving sample and stock pallets, organizing the warehouse sample warehouse and showroom displays. Sending and receiving UPS deliveries. Locating, pulling and ordering samples for local and regional sales reps. Responsibilities: Maintains a clean and well-organized warehouse/showroom assisting in any cleaning and maintenance tasks, as necessary. Pulls orders in an accurate and timely manner using the Wireless Warehouse System. Use TORG to keep warehouse stocked with material in an accurate and timely manner. Follows all inventory policies and procedures set forth by the Operations Manager. Assists in maintaining the security of all materials stored in the warehouse. Follows and promotes all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others. Tasks: Performs regular cleaning and maintenance tasks around the warehouse and showroom. Assists in loading/unloading trucks, freight carriers, etc., in order to facilitate the shipping/receiving process. When pulling orders, ensures that the necessary stock is available. Uses TORG to keep warehouse stocked. Takes note of any damaged materials and informs Account Manager or Purchasing so materials can be written off. Completes cycle counts on a daily basis using the Wireless Warehouse System. Able to safely lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs. continuously. Uses Wireless Warehouse to receive and put away transfers and Purchase Orders within 24 hours of receipt. Ensures all Pick Tickets and Purchase Orders are closed out within 24 hours. Is proactive in learning and training in the various areas of the warehouse so he/she can provide assistance when it is needed. May perform other tasks around the warehouse, as assigned. Samples Inventory Maintains a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Works well with teammates and offers assistance when needed.
