HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Howard County has a total of 8,915 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Howard County Health Department, and 165 deaths. The state has 217,329 confirmed cases and 4,705 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health. More than 22,259 people have been hospitalized to date.
