Meet your new best friend at the Annenberg PetSpace Critter Companion Adoption Event! On Saturday, April 30th, from 11 AM – 4 PM, local Southern California rescues and shelters will bring adoptable small animals looking for their forever homes to Wallis Annenberg PetSpace. From tiny mammals to lengthy reptiles, there will be no shortage of eligible furry, feathered, or scaley critters ready to be your faithful new companion. Participating shelters, rescues, and vendors include: Los Angeles County Animal Care and ControlLos Angeles Animal ServicesSEACCASouthwestern Herpetologist SocietyBunny World FoundationSouthern California Guinea Pig RescueFood 4 BunsTo help spotlight often-overlooked small shelter pets, PetSpace is hosting an entire day devoted to all things critters! Guests can learn directly from the experts about caring for small mammals, reptiles, and birds. The whole family can enjoy a fun critter craft activity, visit our resident Critter Corner residents, and even taste-test critter treats at the chocolate-covered bug bar! Local specialty vendors will also be onsite selling critter care essentials. For the safety and comfort of the adoptable critters onsite, we ask that you keep personal pets at home. Visiting dogs will be asked to visit outdoor areas only during this event.
