The Transcend Conference’s mission and vision is to put on display Christo-centric, gospel-filled worship through preaching and singing. Transcend features Dr. Robert Smith Jr., Pastor John Onwuchekwa, Professor William Branch, and Pastor Hezekiah Cunningham-Bey! Whether you’re a minority serving in a context seeking to learn more about black culture, a person seeking to hear and see faithful teaching and worship from black church leaders, or someone who is looking to feel at home again for a day-- this celebratory Christian conference is for you. You should attend if you are interested in: • An intentional time of fellowship for those who firmly believe in a multicultural vision for the local and global church. • Greater networking and fostering of ideas that can be taken back to churches to further Gospel-centered ministry and work. • Gaining a better understanding of what it means to be a part of the solution of transcending ethnic barriers and differences. Although this is a church conference taking place in Greensboro, North Carolina-- our hope is to transcend location, boundaries, and barriers to truly worship as one body.
