The Georgia International Sports and Cultural Festival is an event designed to unite the diverse heritage and cultural diversifications The event was borne out of the need to minimize and possibly eradicate racial prejudice and stigmatization amongst Georgian as well as discover talents through sports and other recreational activities. The program will also enlighten participants on and about the diverse cultural composition of Georgia through the various activities including parades, arts, exhibitions, dance, music, delicacies among others. The activities include soccer, basketball, boxing, and half marathon for Sports. The Cultural activities will include dance, music, arts exhibitions and displays, parades, food among others. The event is an ideal platform for family and community recreations there will be lots of fun. Attendance is absolutely free. "Discover Georgia, Tour The World" Georgia is a southeastern America State. The State is Blessed with visionary leadership by Brian P. Kemp, the 83rd Governor of the State. Brian Kemp is a husband, father, businessman, and public servant. On November 6, 2018, he was elected as Georgia's 83rd Governor, earning more votes than any gubernatorial candidate in state history. Georgia is home to the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball, the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association, and Atlanta United FC of Major League Soccer. The 1996 Summer Olympics took place in Atlanta. Georgia is one of the world's most enterprising States which hosts the World's busiest airport (The Atlanta Airport). BACKGROUND The Georgia International Sports and Cultural Festival is proposed as a unifying platform for sports loving residents as well as multi-ethnic cultural enthusiast as means of socio-economic bonding Sports and Culture are exceptionally, two Unifying factors of human relations and association as this two (2) tend to wade off ethnic and religious differences. The event is also timely as it paves an opportunity for Governor Kemp to interact and relate his scorecards and achievements to the teaming sports and cultural fans due to their diverse, social, religious, ethnic, political and demographic structures. BENEFITS OF THE EVENT The GISCF has numerous benefits generally and specifically to the State of Georgia and the residents. The State will be viewed as the most potential investment destination at the time. ⦁ Proceeds from the event, will be channeled into non-profits funding. EVENTS PURPOSE ⦁ Aim of the Event The GISCF is an event proposed with the intention to bring different people and cultures together in a non-formal way, while promoting cultural exchange, peace, reconciliation as well as boost economic potentials of the state through tourists visits and talents hunt. ⦁ Objectives of the Event a. To implement a 2-day festival open for everyone and actively inviting members of all ethnic groups in Macedonia and abroad. b. To provide a forum for the elderly, teaming youth population, tourists, and international sports enthusiast to compete, exercise and exhibit their talents and cultures to a wide public, and thus creating positive awareness of diversity of talents as well as cultural heritage and composition of Georgians. c. Create family, social, and communal bonds to reduce crime and delinquency among the young people. d. To offer a possibility for intercultural exchange among the various demographic identities of Georgians (Race, Ethnicity, Religion, Politics etc), while fostering local intercultural dialogue e. To stimulate creativity and Innovation among the young people in Georgia from different backgrounds by giving them the opportunity to interact, compete and participate in the cultural events/displays: f. To reintegrate the destitute, disparaged and discarded youth back into society through cultural mix and values reorientation.
