The Gardena Police Department will be hosting their third Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Event on Saturday April 23rd, 2022. We would like to invite Gardena residents to attend our third Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Event. This event is part of a multifaceted strategy that Gardena PD is employing to address the uptick in catalytic converter thefts that we have seen in the City of Gardena. Gardena PD has partnered with local stakeholders to host this event. All participants will have their catalytic converters etched with a unique identifying number. This etching will act as a theft deterrent. It will also provide law enforcement with valuable information should it be stolen and later located by law enforcement personnel during subsequent investigations. This event is being provided at no cost to all participants. Please sign up as soon as possible as participation is limited.
