Description

Labyrinth Walk in Solidarity with Ukraine When we walk the labyrinth we are symbolically linking ourselves with pilgrims through the ages. Those who could not journey to Jerusalem walked the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral and then in many other places. Often this is a personal time of reflection, letting go, standing in the center where God is, releasing our intentions and re-entering our lives. On Wednesday evening of Holy Week, we will symbolically walk with refugees, those whose path needs accompaniment and response. It is a time for us to be in solidarity with those who have left their home place because of war, famine or natural disasters. At the forefront of our focus is our concern for Ukraine. As we walk, we will hear the cello suites of Bach and a prayer written by a refugee. We will end our time together with Night Prayer from New Zealand. You're invited to join us in bearing the cross of others as we walk in the faith of Holy Week, walking the road to resurrection.
