Celebrate Earth Day 22 with the Rotary Club of Temple Terrace! Grab your boat, kayak, paddle board or canoe (or any other water vessel) and join members of the Rotary Club of Temple Terrace to help keep the Hillsborough River clean and healthy. Launch from Rotary Riverfront Park at 8000 E Fowler Avenue in Temple Terrace. You will make your way down the river to Scout Park collecting trash and debris along the way. No boat? No problem! Shoreline helpers at both parks are welcome. Registration is FREE - we just need to know that you are coming! Food and beverages will be served at the end where the City of Temple Terrace will haul away all debris collected. Please note - all participants on the water must have PFD (personal floating devices), a whistle and all other applicable safety equipment as required by law. Yes - he might be watching us as we paddle down the river - but he will appreciate our efforts!
