Join us to help clean up our community! This Earth Day event is great for families, friends, and other small groups. Minneapolis, let's celebrate Earth Day together! We take pride in our community and what better time to clean up some trash than in celebration of Earth Day? We're hosting a volunteer clean up event from 10am-12pm at two locations: EMERGE (1834 Emerson Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411) and Second Chance Recycling (1179 15th Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414) Join us for this volunteer community clean up event! We'll provide all the clean up supplies, plus snacks and refreshments. This volunteer opportunity is great for individuals, friends, families, and small groups. Children are welcome, as long as they are supervised. We will send you an email reminder one week before the event. Need to know: Register: All volunteers must register for the event through Eventbrite and select their clean up location.Provided: EMERGE will provide gloves, snacks, and refreshments!Wear: Weather appropriate clothing and sturdy closed-toe shoes.What to expect: Arrive 15 minutes prior to the event.Check in with an EMERGE staff to get a name tag, gloves, and assignment to a clean up group.If you have any questions, contact Judith Kilian at [email protected] or 612-787-3780.
