Our primary coverage areas are the San Francisco Bay Area, Central Valley and surrounding cities. Currently, we have openings for Fire Sprinkler Inspection Technicians. The primary responsibilities include fire sprinkler, hydrant, standpipe, pump and hose inspections in accordance with NFPA 25. Job Skills & Duties: Strong attention to detail and knowledge of current NFPA codes or willing to learn. Ability to understand repairs and make recommendations that best suit our repair team and customers. Knowledge of Fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, backflows and standpipes or the ability to learn these skill sets Able to work unsupervised and highly self-motivated and detail oriented Basic knowledge in the operation of hand and power tools Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and new technologies Strong customer service, problem solving and communication skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to operate as a team player Employment Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years related experience preferred Knowledge of NFPA code handbooks preferred Technology competent, able learn and use trade specific software on smart phone Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English Maintain neat and tidy appearance and work atmosphere Must have valid Driver License and clean DMV record Must pass drug screen and reference check Must successfully pass an employment background investigation Work Environment/Job Conditions: This position requires extensive walking, standing, bending, and reaching. Applicants must be able to navigate the job site and must comply with all company safety requirements in the office and on all job sites. Heavy equipment may be used and applicants must be able to lift heavy objects.
