Press release from the Suffolk County District Attorney: April 5, 2022 BOSTON, April 5, 2022— An accused drunk driver was arraigned yesterday in connection with a Downtown Boston crash that left a pedestrian critically injured, District Attorney Kevin Hayden said. ABANA CABRERA, 36, who is charged under the name ROBERTO RODRIGUEZ CABRERA, was arraigned yesterday in the Central Division of the Boston Municipal Court on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol causing serious bodily injury, OUI alcohol as a second offense, and failure to stop or yield. Assistant District Attorney John Mooney requested a bail of $10,000 and that Cabrera submit to home confinement subject to GPS monitor, refrain from driving, remain alcohol free subject to screenings, and surrender all passports in the event she is to be released on bail. Bail was set at $7,500 and Cabrera was ordered to submit to GPS monitoring, refrain from driving and consuming alcohol, and to surrender any passports.
