Press release from University of Wisconsin - Green Bay: April 4, 2022 MILWAUKEE— A Milwaukee woman is making history as she is the first Black woman to win the Miss Milwaukee crown. Jada Monet Davis, 23, is currently a law student at Marquette University and an entrepreneur. Davis was selected as Miss Milwaukee 2022 on March 19 during the first-ever virtual online competition. "Just to be able to have a part of history be a part of my life, and to do it during Women's History Month, is super special," said Davis.
