Urban Cabinets Company builds, delivers, and installs beautiful custom cabinetry from our wood shop in Woodinville. We are looking for a full-time delivery person, who would also be willing and interested to begin learning the art and craft of cabinetmaking. We typically have deliveries every day. But sometimes not, and sometimes they only take part of the day. On those days, we would have you assist in the shop, doing various tasks, learning our process and getting to know the trade of cabinetmaking a bit. In either case, you would be working with a small team of other committed and helpful people. Pay from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience. All candidates must have: - Valid driver’s license - A clean driving record - Ability to reliably be on time and ready to work daily - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and team lift heavier items on occasion Other traits desired, but not required: - Forklift experience - Experience driving box trucks or other large vehicles - Experience with ratchet straps, tie-downs, appliance dollies, and other moving equipment - Knowledge of wood products or other woodworking experience - Mechanical aptitude Please respond to this ad with a brief note about yourself and why you are interested in the job, and attach any resume or work experience you may have.
