Job description $15.00 - $23.00 per hour Previous Landscape Maintenance Leadership experience required! U.S. LAWNS has been in the commercial landscape management business for 25 years. We provide full-service landscape management for commercial properties nationwide. Our services include landscape management, irrigation management, fertilization & pest control, seasonal color design & installation, and select services (mulch & custom services). U.S. LAWNS is currently searching for an experienced Crew Leader for its location in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate must have at least 1+ yrs. experience as a Crew Leader. We are searching for someone who has strong leadership qualities and a strong sense of safety for themselves, their crew, and those around them. Job responsibilities to include: Supervise the crew providing services to our commercial customers All phases of the management of truck operations under their control Inform U.S. LAWNS of all developments in operations, training & planning Schedule workload for crew members prior to the workday Prepare and secure all materials, tools, and equipment for the next day Assign tasks to crew members & ensure work is completed properly Ensure that all crew members are punctual & follow company rules & procedures Train crew members to do the job effectively & efficiently Maintain and promote safe working conditions in the field at all times Conducts & documents safety tailgate meetings weekly with the crew Maintain clean, neat & professional image of service vehicle & trailer Ensure crew members maintain a professional image Ensure all assigned equipment, tools, safety items, vehicles & trailers, or other items are maintained in proper working order Develop an understanding of the Quality Control Inspection Form & implement it on a regular basis as directed by owner/manager Able to maintain all jobs to bid specifications Maintain client satisfaction to ensure jobs are renewed Monitor all irrigation controllers Ability to organize & implement work schedule Responsible for utilizing forms & procedures Job Requirements - Education, training, experience: Candidate should be a motivated team player Must have at least 3 years of experience as Crew Leader Must have experience in fertilization, insect control & turf/plant disease treatment Must possess strong leadership skills Must possess strong communication skills required for customer interaction Possess professionalism – assuring customer service, respect & satisfaction Must be knowledgeable in the operation & maintenance of equipment Must be knowledgeable of turf, plants & flowers of Upstate South Carolina Must have strong sense for the safety of themselves and those around them Must have driver’s license & a good driving record This is a year-round, full-time position with benefits.
