Press release from Town of Arlington: April 5, 2022 The Broadway Plaza reconstruction is a continuation of the Arlington Center Sidewalk Project. Now that the MWRA is finalizing their water main work , reconstruction will commence on the Plaza. Renovations are proposed to begin on or about the week of April 19th. During the reconstruction of Broadway Plaza a temporary pedestrian detour will be created and businesses will remain open. The reconstruction includes replacing the plaza surface, tree planting, benches and some new landscaping. Work is contingent on weather and other factors, but is estimated to be completed in June.
