Press release from the University of Colorado, Denver: April 5, 2022 CU Denver's division of Strategic Enrollment and Student Success (SESS) is the grateful recipient of a $75,000 award from the Pueblo County Government Scholarship Program to support scholarships for new students from Pueblo County, Colo., enrolling at CU Denver for the fall 2022 and spring 2023 semesters. "SESS leaders and the advancement team collaborated on a strong application to the Pueblo County Government Scholarship Program," said Monique Snowden, senior vice chancellor for strategic enrollment and student success. "Melisa Baldwin, vice chancellor for advancement, and I are pleased to learn that we received the $75,000 award and look forward to welcoming new students from Pueblo County to CU Denver." The Pueblo County Government Scholarship Program is funded from excise taxes on the sale of marijuana grown within the county, and helps deserving county student residents find a path in higher education.
