Description

DUTIES INCLUDE: - Feed and water full board and pasture board horses according to schedule. - Clean stalls, feed and water buckets and other areas. - Move horses from barn to pasture and pasture to barn. - Check all horses for injuries. - Blanket horses in the winter and fly sheets in the summer as needed. - Clean and refill water tubs in pastures as needed. - Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks such as: ----- emptying trash cans ----- cobwebbing barn ----- sweeping tack room, feed room and other areas, - Other tidying up around the barn. - Assist with pasture maintenance, fence repair, mowing and weed control. - Interact in a positive manner with boarders. REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to work in all kinds of weather - Knowledgeable in equestrian care - Ability to be proactive and take initiative - Strong work ethic, reliable and dependable WORK HOURS: - Mornings (8 am to 12 pm) - Evenings (4 pm to 7pm) - Weekdays and Weekends - Full or part time - Able to work some holidays COMPENSAITON: - Dependent on experience
