By Cristian ArguetaSoto, Fort Worth Report April 6, 2022 For nearly 30 years, Barbi Blair Stroudt, 70, has worked with the Tarrant County Women's Auxiliary. This year marks the return of the auxiliary's garage sale that aims to raise money for the Salvation Army. The return of the event was not easy, though. "We're usually busting at the seams with our donations, but, this year, we are in a little bit of a lurch," Stroudt, the fundraising chairwoman of the Tarrant County Women's Auxiliary, said. "We're always trying to strive. Now, we've been knocked down a step or two, but we'll get back there." The auxiliary had to halt its 2020 Garage Sale days before it was set to take place. The COVID-19 pandemic halted their two months of hard work. But, the group of women intend on reviving the sale on April 22-23 at the Salvation Army warehouse, 229 E.
