Position Summary Perform preventative maintenance, oiling and fueling duties to various types of construction equipment on various construction projects. Primary Responsibilities: • Oil changes on heavy equipment, semi-trucks and light vehicles and have ready to operate before next shift • Grease machines daily • Fuel machines daily • Conducts light repairs of all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working condition; dismantle and reassemble/rebuild equipment as required. • Performs annual inspections, evaluations and repairs. Maintains an accurate schedule and legible record of equipment and vehicle maintenance logs and reports. • Maintain fuel/lube truck and all products carried on truck • Comply with ALL D.O.T rules and regulations • Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time on all types of equipment. Qualifications: • Class A CDL • Minimum of 3 years’ experience • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) • Valid Driver’s License • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening • Hazardous Material and Tanker endorsement • Responsible • Self-starter OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (hard hat, eye and ear protection, safety vest, gloves, dust mask or respirator, fall protection gear, etc.).
