The theme for this year's celebration of NCGM is "Counties THRIVE," demonstrating how counties and parishes help to improve people's lives every day, especially for local government workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. "The Parish of Caddo is proud of the programs and services we provide to our residents," said Parish Administrator Dr. Woody Wilson, Jr. "Our efforts combined with efforts of parishes across the country are helping American communities respond to public health needs and the countless other needs of our citizens," said Wilson. Since 1991 the National Association of Counties (NACo) has encouraged counties and parishes across the country to raise public awareness and understanding about the roles and responsibilities of parishes. During the month of April, the Parish invites citizens to stay connected and learn more about the functions of Parish government and the services it provides.
