Here are the top stories in New Orleans today: The Jefferson Parish Council voted to rename a one-block stretch of Metairie avenue on Wednesday after Metairie native, Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett. (NOLA.com) NOPD arrested a 13-year-old boy and accused him of killing a 14-year-old in New Orleans East. The boy was booked in the Juvenile Justice Center after the death of the 14-year-old victim early Thursday last week. (WDSU New Orleans) NOPD is searching for the man caught on video in connection to local car burglaries. He is wanted on two counts of simple burglaries after he was caught on a dashcam on April 1st and again was identified as the suspect in a car burglary on April 3rd.
