NEWPORT, RI — Pet owners in Newport have until the end of the month to renew their dog's license and ensure rabies vaccinations are up-to-date. Yearly dog licenses must be obtained for all dogs aged six months and older, as required by state law. Proof of a valid rabies vaccination must be provided to complete the application.
