Description

Press release from the Missoula County Government: April 1, 2022 Besides organizing and managing the assurance of the ADA, I assist with auxiliary aids and services as requested, investigate and help resolve grievances under the ADA, and serve as a resource on the ADA. I continue to meet with departments to understand their operations, programs and services so my role can better support departments. Although this position is new, I started at the County in 2007 as a senior community health specialist in the Health Department, and stepping into this role last August was a perfect fit for my public health background. Understanding the structure of the County when I started as the ADA coordinator has been helpful, but I continue to learn how immense county operations are and meet the fabulous folks that keep it all moving. I look forward to being a resource for county employees and programs regarding accessibility needs so, that we can best serve everyone in our community. Outside of work, I enjoy long walks and conversations with my dogs, Pippa and Rory, partaking in puzzles with my cat, Olive, and reading on the patio in the summer. Besides that, I love to travel with my husband, far and near, experiencing other cultures, taking in the scenery across our planet and of course, partaking in culinary delights.
