KANE COUNTY, IL — The Forest Preserve District of Kane County has announced the dates and locations for its 2022 kayaking series. As the summer progresses, attendees can pick longer and more technical paddles for intermediate skill levels. Each session, participants will receive dry-land instruction on basic kayaking techniques from an experienced instructor and then will be taken on a naturalist-led exploration of the local ecology. Participants will meet and park at the take-out location and will also be shuttled to the location where they will their kayak in, according to the news release. Participants can choose how many sessions they'd like to participate in.
