Oak Forest High School and Lincolnway Special Recreation Association (LWSRA) Hawks are co-jointing together to present a wheelchair basketball showdown! This will take place on Thursday, April 7th at Oak Forest High School Gymnasium. Doors will open at 6:00 and the basketball game will begin at 6:30. $5 admission, proceeds go to LWSRA One of our very own Bengals, Chloe Johnson, is on this team! Chloe is one of the LWSRA players that recently won 2nd place in the IHSA state wheelchair basketball tournament! This showdown will consist of a full basketball game with the LWSRA team taking on Bengals Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball Teams, Oak Forest High School Administration and Oak Forest community leaders! Come out to watch some of these Bengal All-Stars: All-Time Leading basketball scorer for OFHS Robbie Avila, OFHS Principal Mrs. Dempsey and Varsity Girls basketball coaches as they showcase their skills against the Hawks! Bengal Nation hopes to see you all come support ALL our athletes this Thursday at 6:30pm at the Wheelchair Basketball Showdown!
