Press release from Meridian Community College: April 4, 2022 Three Meridian Community College students won first place in the 2022 Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference. The PBL State Leadership Conference was held at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. Hundreds of university and community college students from across the state got the chance to network, learn new ideas, and compete in more than 50 business and leadership-specific competitive events. Taking first were Brayden Stewart for Computer Concepts and Cyber Security; Dyson Williams for Information Management; and Stephen Milling for Help Desk. Williams also garnered a second in Computer Concepts, while Daniel Knight took a second-place win in Networking Concepts and Madison D'Angelo took second in Project Management. Knight also won fourth place in Help Desk. Top winners qualified to compete at the PBL National Leadership Conference in Chicago this summer. Phi Beta Lambda is a national business education association for students interested in careers in business and business-related fields. It is the largest career student organization in the world.
