Warrington Man Raped 2 Boys, Could Serve Up To 40 Years: Bucks Co. DA

WARRINGTON, PA — A Warrington man has been sentenced to between 19 and 40 years in state prison for repeatedly raping two boys under the age of 10, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced. Following a guilty plea in August, 28-year-old Rosalio Suchite of Warrington received the sentence for two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a child. Common Pleas Judge Gary B. Gilman said his actions were unspeakable, according to the DA. He was deemed a sexually violent predator by the state's Sex Offender Assessment Board in addition to his prison sentence, the news release said. Gilman commended a babysitter and the mother of the boys for coming forward to report the abuse, crediting them with having protected the community. "My heart breaks every time I think of what he put these boys through," the childrens' mother said in a victim impact statement. Suchite was charged in November of 2020, following an investigation by the Warrington Township Police Department. After forensic interviews at the Bucks County Child Advocacy Center, police said that Suchite had repeatedly sexually abused the boys, ages 9 and 7, at his Pileggi Road home. The abuse against the older victim had been ongoing for at least three years, the DA said. The assaults began in Guatemala and continued after Suchite came to the United States, police said. After being confronted by law enforcement, Suchite packed up his things and fled the area, but was tracked down with the assistance of the U.S. Marshalls Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the DA said. "While this sentence is lengthy, no sentence can apparently protect our children from this predator," District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said. "I expect that we will oppose his prison release in 19 years, and continue to do so until he has served his maximum sentence of 40 years." This case was investigated by Detective Bernard Schaffer of the Warrington Township Police Department and was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Mary Kate Kohler.
