BURNSVILLE, MN — A Prior Lake man was sentenced Tuesday to 28 years in prison for his role in the 2020 murder of 16-year-old Samuel Keezer, of Burnsville, according to a report by Southwest News Media. 19-year-old Braylen Miller helped his parents cover up the murder of Keezer after a botched drug deal, the report said. He was also driving the vehicle when Keeezer was shot, according to the report. His father Taran Miller shot Keezer in Feb. 2020, but later died in jail that December, the publication reported. Braylen's mother was sentenced to just over three years for her role-hiding the vehicle the shooting occurred in and giving Braylen the gun and ammunition to give to Taran, the report said.
