Press release from the Altadena Library District: April 1, 2022 Help us celebrate National Library Week, April 3-9. The theme for this year: Connect with your Library. Here are just a few of the ways you can connect to Altadena Libraries. Children's Craft & Book Giveaway Stop by our libraries for a fun children's craft and book giveaway all week (available while supplies last). Special Storytimes Join the Altadena Library Foundation and the Friends of the Altadena Library for a special story time. Thursday | April 7 | 10:30AM | Bob Lucas Memorial Library Friday | April 8 | 10:30AM | Main Library Children's Room Curiosity Connection Connect with our mobile library at community hotspots. Wednesday | April 6 | 6-8PM | Altadena Ale House 2329 N. Fair Oaks Avenue Friday | April 8 | 1-3PM | Café de Leche – 2477 N. Lake Avenue Bookmark Contest All Month Long During the month of April, we invite you to design a bookmark for the Altadena Library District telling us how you connect with us. Compete in one of the following categories for a chance to see your bookmark design printed and featured at our libraries: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade Grades 3 – 5 Grades 6 – 8 Grades 9 – 12 Adult 18 + To enter, visit the Main Library or Bob Lucas Branch Library to pick up an entry form or download the appropriate form from the links below.
