Hey there, Bottom line up-front: I'd like to start a new, organic, original-music band. I'd like it to rock. I'd like the members to be within 10-15 minutes of Newbury Park. You: around 40, you continue to be a great musician, but it's a 'serious hobby' now instead of a career. Love to rock. Very positive attitude. Take the audience's enjoyment as a point of pride. Physically fit for rockin'! Expected commitment: 1x/week, occasional face-melting shows that are local. Record and release awesome music. Me: ex-touring dude. Dad and husband and working man. Can play drums and lead sing or do backups. Love to front-man... also love to drum and sing. I'm flexible. Ideal first bandmate would be a guitar player to help song-writing. I love a 3-piece but would be happy with a 4-piece. I have my own semi-soundproof studio and all the gear needed, so a get-together to feel things out is easily facilitated. Recordings are also easily done as I can engineer and mix everything.
