Must have pro gear, experience, a great attitude, a job and your own transportation.Bassist with 30+ yrs experience. I know all that standards.....but lean towards the harder stuff. The Hollies to the Deftones. Also singing experience, lead and back ups, and can sing in 3 1/2 octaves. Im older, so no emo bands please. Looking to gig.....alot or alittle. I dont drink, and party rarely. Moving from Toledo to the FW area, and looking for a perm home with a great band, with a drummer we dont all want to kill. I'm a pianist with 40+ years' experience, willing to perform for your next event: weddings, funerals, private parties, nursing homes, church functions, background music for stores, etc. I can easily perform 200+ church hymns from memory, as well as 40+ Christmas carols, and 180+ pop music songs from the 80's, 90's, 00's, TV/movie soundtracks, etc....plus a few classical/general type songs. I charge reasonable rates, starting at $50 per hour and up, depending on the event itself and my travelling time to get there. Also a few children's choir cantata/musical scores like Music Machine, Kids Praise 2, Back At The Creekbank, and Hark the Herald Angel (A Christmas Musical Drama)..Drummer of 35 years experience seeking laid-back variety band to play around Muskegon and possibly Holland or Grand Rapids radius on the weekends. Genres: funk, dance, jam, rock, blues, variety, metal, world music, rap, etc. I'm thinking it would be cool to jam with others that are well-versed in today's music, travel lightly on the weekends and record some tracks and generally live for the music!
