DENVER, CO — The Broncos have closed their training center after three confirmed coronavirus cases, the team announced Friday.
"Following confirmed positive COVID-19 test results from one player and two staff members, the Denver Broncos have closed UCHealth Training Center today with the team's safety in mind," the team said in a statement.
The Broncos will continue preparations for Sunday's game remotely with virtual meetings, the team said. Friday's practice was postponed.
"Working closely with medical experts and the league office, we will take all steps necessary to ensure the well-being of the players, coaches and staff," the team's statement read.

Sunday's Broncos game against Miami was the final game played in front of fans at Empower Field at Mile High this season, as coronavirus rates continue to climb in Denver.
