Chato is a survivor. As a puppy, he survived an owner who let him roam and neglected him but refused to let someone else take him in. He survived two shelters, and then he was sent to sanctuary, and even that was not forever. Now he’s in a foster home but he deserves his very own forever home. Texas pounds kill more dogs than any other state, so survival is victory. But Chato deserves a true home, acceptance, family, and love. He’s eight years old and he’s never had a loving home of his own. Despite that, he’s sweet with people, good with many other dogs, and even has good manners in the house.
