We’re looking for folks to join our fabrication shop on a part-time basis. While we value experience, we are also looking to train people who are a good fit. Who we’re looking for: -People with woodworking/metalworking experience or a willingness to learn -People willing to do miscellaneous shop work (cleaning, running errands, assisting) Days/hours can be flexible, with guaranteed minimum hours and plenty of opportunity for extra hours as projects require. Positions have the potential to become full-time as the company grows. About Edgewise: We’re a small and growing design/build shop based in Lewiston that does custom architectural metal and woodwork. We collaborate with architects, designers and contractors on projects ranging from one-off furniture pieces to 3-story stairs to custom hardware. Since we don’t do any one thing, we end up doing a lot of things. We try to handle as many processes in-house as possible. This requires a lot of collaboration and a wide breadth of skills & experience.
