I run a parakeet rescue and foster home. I have seven resident parakeets that fly freely for the majority of the day. I qualify those who wish to adopt and I do not charge them anything. I visit their home, install their hanging cage or assist with whatever setup they would desire. I have them sign agreement that they will return the bird to me in the event they can no longer care for them. I make sure they're properly educated... unlike the pet stores who will sell anybody a bird. I have a page for bird lovers on the next door social media site. So, if your number one priority is to make sure your birds are well taken care of instead of recouping the nominal money you may have invested, I am available.
